Archery Classes

Deep River Bowmen's Introduction to Archery Class introduces a beginning archer to the elements of safety, terminology, and uses  for basic equipment during a 2 hour course taught by our certified USAA/NFAA Level I coaches and are held at our 17-lane indoor archery range. This class includes plenty of shooting so if you want to try out archery and see if it's for you, this course will help you get there.

 

  • Introduction to Archery Class is $30 (cash only)

  • Class is a 2 hour course

  • Classes open to all ages 6 and above. Parents and young adults are encouraged to enroll in the course together

  • All safety gear and equipment for this course will be provided. One may use one's own equipment at the discretion of the instructor

  • Parents/guardians not participating are to remain with their young adults (those under 18 years of age) until the lesson ends

  • Waiver releases are required for all students to participate on ranges. Youth under 18 require a waiver to be signed by parent/guardians to participate

  • Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students and will be offered once a month. All classes are taught as a group

  • Students should dress appropriately with flat, closed toed shoes. Clothing should be relatively snug around the chest and arms

  • Students MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class start in order to attend
